1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the urltojson website (the "Site") and the extraction API (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

urltojson provides developers and businesses with automated tools to parse publicly accessible web pages and transform HTML / structured metadata (JSON-LD, OpenGraph, Microdata) into structured JSON formats via HTTP APIs.

3. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree that you will NOT use urltojson to:

  • Extract non-public data, bypass authentication paywalls, or circumvent technological protection measures.
  • Conduct denial-of-service (DoS) attacks or generate unreasonable server load against target domains.
  • Scrape sensitive personal data in violation of applicable data protection regulations (such as GDPR or CCPA).
  • Violate third-party intellectual property rights or applicable local laws.

urltojson complies with standard web conventions, including honoring robots.txt directives and reasonable crawl delays.

4. Accounts and API Keys

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys. Any activity performed using your API keys is your sole responsibility. We store cryptographic hashes of API keys and cannot retrieve original keys once created.

5. Payments and Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle.com. Paddle provides customer service inquiries and handles returns. When purchasing credits, you agree to Paddle's terms of purchase in addition to these Terms.

6. Refund Policy

You may request a full refund within 14 calendar days of purchase if less than 20% of the credits from that purchase have been used. Invalid usage caused by technical faults is excluded from this limit. See our Refund Policy.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE". Because web structures frequently change, urltojson does not guarantee that extraction from any particular third-party website will remain uninterrupted, error-free, or 100% accurate at all times.
